Welcome to the hoard, where we celebrate all things bookish!
The Story Dragon was originally created for other high school librarians. I had run into trouble trusting publishing companies to be VERY up front about what content could be expected in certain books, and after finding many novels that teetered the line of Young Adult and Adult (or that, quite frankly, fell right over the line), I wanted to establish a place where other librarians could double check their own collection.
That was … a lot. I certainly bit off more than I could chew. I also learned a little bit about hubris.
But, I loved writing about books! And so, The Story Dragon morphed into a review site where I share my thoughts on bookish topics.
It’s been a blast!
I’ve learned much about myself as I reader throughout this process, and I’ve met other avid readers along the way!
